It’s a bdelloid rotifer. They look scarier than they are. Their corona is actually made of cilia (not to be confused with the fuzz on ciliate protists) that beat in a rhythm to create a little whirlpool that sends food into their mouths. They look like chainsaws, but they’re more like if the teeth on a chainsaw wiggled really fast instead of spinning.
They can also swim with those cilia. They just let go of whatever their foot is holding onto and take off, headfirst.
